Re: Too early to see a florist??
you should start shopping around to get prices for what you want.

i would definitely go, you don't have to pick your exact flowers you're booking for the date. you can change your flowers as much as you want obviously the price could change but at least you'll know where you're at budget wise. despite the flowers you'll know how many cp's, boks, etc that you'll need.
Make some appts!

Not too early. I would meet with a couple of florists to get an idea of what looks you like. My wedding is in November next year, and I booked flowers last month.

i'd say it's def. a good time to start looking around. This way you can get an idea of prices. If you aren't set on your colors....you can always change what you want. I'm pretty sure u can change your flowers up until a few months before.. so i wouldn't stress it!!

Since your wedding is in the most common wedding month, now is the TIME!!! GO, GO, GO, GO!!!!!
You don't have to make ANY decisions, but get a florist that you love booked!!

OK cuz I wasn't sure if I needed to already know what flowers and colors and everything..... So I see we book the florist first just to save the date and then we go back and make flower decisions??

That is exactly what I did - yes. We met and booked our florist right after we had our venue. We met her in February of last year & we just had our 'official' meeting last month. By 'official' I mean, these color flowers, this specific flower, etc..
Next month i'll have my centerpiece!!! :)

You dont need to know what flowers and colors you want. But go with an IDEA. If you see pictures of CPs and bouquets you like, the florist may be able to suggest things going on your taste.

you can change it at anytime...i didnt know either before going in exactly what i wanted, but i saw a CP in their showroom that I LOVED and picked that, then saw a bunch of bok's and picked those too and she helped with alot of the rest...she did tell me that i can change it of course if i see something else i like better

If you want to go price shopping or meet up with them for concepts maybe even help with color schemes that is a good thing to do. But I wouldn't book anyone you do have time and florists don't close up to bookings.

I've booked my florist already and I'm about a month ahead of you. It's not too early and can always change it after you book!
