Too excited......

Our engagement will be a year and a half, and I am too excited! It has been almost 6 months now and I still have a whole year to wait! I have done so much already for our wedding and am loving every minute of it. Although now I feel like I wish it were sooner. We have been in a long distance relationship for over three years now and I know our marriage will finally bring us together. Everyone says it will fly by but I need reassurance. Any advice?

it will fly by i'm sure. i'm getting married next yeaer too and i feel like i don't have enough time!! don't worry, we'll be so busy and flying high that we don't even need to kill time until the big day. i'm enjoying the time it takes to plan this wedding. i love it!!

Please, do yourself a favor and don't wish this very special time away so quickly!!!!!! It will be here and gone before you know it!!!!! Enjoy your engagement and look forward to your day, but don't let it go by too fast!!!!!

My wedding and HM is over now and I really miss planning. I love my DH and our wedding was beautiful, but I so wish we could do it all over again!!

We were engaged on Dec 18th 2004...our wedding is October 7th 2006....so I can completely sympathize with the long engagement. There were a lot of times I wanted it to be sooner...but take a deep breath and enjoy it...it does go by quickly!! And take solace in the fact that you are planning so far in advance, you'll have plenty of time to ensure that everything is exactly as you'd like it to be...
