December 23, 2006 is too far away! Any of you feel like you set the date too far in advance?
I feel like its quickly approaching....my best friend got engaged in Dec 2003 and its getting married this July.....and that time has flown by like a flash...so I know mine will go quick too
It seems like it's taking forever, but honestly, its great having all this time to prepare. I do at least one thing a week, and book something or pay someone at least once a month. Helps in the $$.

Yes I feel like mine is taking forever to come. I got engaged on Mar 1, 2004 and set my date for Aug 26 2006. Honestly, this year is going by pretty quick, I really have to say!
It does feel far away, but it certainly is nice having all this time to plan and look at vendors. Everyone has been saying that the time will fly, so there must be some truth to it!
Time will fly, it will be here before you know it. I just remember going to my friends engagement party back in November of 03 and she is getting married 3 months from today. Time goes sooooo fast!!!
We set our for almost two years after we got engaged, but I did not want to rush and be really stressed, especially since I'm working full time and going to school. We also weren't sure how much help we were going to get moneywise, but I think it's actually going fast. I'm sure it will fly by.

It seems like just yesterday that one of my coworkers was thinking that her boyfriend would never propose and this Friday is their wedding day! It really does fly!!! On one hand I can't wait, but on the other there's just so much to do and not enough time!
to me the time is flying. But I do know how you feel. We got engaged in September 05 but wedding not until march 06. Until we hit the year mark, I was dying for it to arrive
I feel like it is taken forever but I am not in any rush there is still so much to do. Wewere originally going to get married in July of 06 but I pushed it back cuz I figured teh more time the better
I feel like that occasionally, when I am excited. but in reality, I need that time both to save AND to mentally prepare...I mean...I am going to be a WIFE....that's a whole new set of responsibilities, as well as joys....
I cannot wait!
We were engaged July 18, 2004 and booked the hall September 12, 2004 for June 29, 2006. It felt so far away, but the past 9 months have FLOWN by!!!
