Check out this house.....Beautiful victorianl, in a great school district, for really, a minimal price for what you would be getting. Is it too good to be true?
But what a gorgeous house!! Definitely worth checking out if you're interested! Good luck!

Re: Too Good to be True?
maybe after the house is built it will be a lot more $$$
Also says Deer Park PO - maybe it's a less desirable part of Dix Hills?

If its one of the developments I think it is, its either right on Deer Park Ave across from the firehouse, or right on the LIE service Rd.
I can only imagine that is a base starting price.

Re: Too Good to be True?
This house is not on the market or even built. I have no idea why it's still on MLS.
I called about it several months ago and the realtor explained to me that it was in a new development and under contract, but now in a big litigation because since property values went through the roof, the builder wanted a lot more money for it than originally.
Then a few weeks ago, a friend of mine left many messages for that realtor to follow up and nobody returned his calls.

I had emailed that realtor a couple of months ago and never received anything back, figured it was too good to be true!

I also was in love with this house...I guess too good to be true is really NOT TRUE.

Re: Too Good to be True?
Deer Park PO .. I would imagine simply means Deer Park Post Office .. however .. this listing is for 'Dix Hills' .. with a school district of Half Hollow Hills .. with what I know of that area .. I think that would put it in a good area .. but .. than again .. everyone's opinions are different .. and I guess it doesn't matter much if the real estate agents aren't even returning calls or emails regarding the house.
