My wedding is in mid Oct. - do you think its too late for a save the date?

Nope - I am finally sending my mom's out and my wedding is in 6 months.

Nope - I just sent mine out and my wedding is in late Aug. I'm a bit late but it's worth sending them out, just so people make no plans. I really don't think your late at all.

Not at all- my friend is getting married in the beginning of October and I'm still waiting to get her STD's.

definitely NOT too late. You can send them from anywhere between 1 year and 4 months before.

I sent mine out in January for a May wedding. I wanted to wait until after the holiday rush.

I just sent mine 3 weeks ago and my wedding is the first week in November so I think you can still send them. I believe my etiquette book says 6 months before but I sent mine earlier because we have a ton of OOT and many of them are from Ireland

No, definately not.
If you can send them out this month, or begining of next, you have nothing to worry about.

your right on time, they say about 6 months beforehand

Not too late...do it! And you can get the new pretty flower and love stamp...it comes out on Friday!
