I've paid that before for a hotel room for a wedding but I think you should maybe shop around a bit more or see if you can talk them down a bit.

i can't find one that has it all =\
well we are boooked at the Courtyard Farmingdale and they provide shuttle service for free if 10 rooms are booked. Not sure if that is a convenient location for you but it's worth a try

if it includes shuttle and breakfast then it's not too bad

That's our price for Friday. For Saturday it's $249.
We also booked the Hilton for $229, the Holiday inn was the same price but required 80% down!

is it the closest hotel to your rh?!?! in that case its worth it! the closest hotel to mine is over 200( and they wont let me block rooms because they stink) for the night .. and the next hotel is lit 11 miles away.. my guest might as well go home :(
