Too much for a July Wedding?

Is this dress too much for a July Wedding? I always wanted a big dress then decided I didn't want to suffocate for a summer wedding but I'm recontimplating that thought cause I really like this gown. I'm still looking though what do you think. This is the best pic I could get because mine just don't do it justice.

it's beautiful!!!! i don't think it's too much at all. if you love it, go for it!!!! i think most of these dresses are made to be comfortable year round. have you tried it on yet??

I don't think it's to much. Your only going to be outside for a short time taking pictures. From there your gonna be partying inside and JT takes beautiful pics inside.

Have you tried it on? I've tried on some big dress, that you would have no idea how big was, it was so light on, but then on the other hand some felt too much. You should try them on. They are both really gorgeous dresses and I think you should get a big dress if that's what you really want, just shop around and find one that is light, there are a lot and maybe the ones you love are one of those. Have fun, I loved trying on dresses!!!!

I'm getting married at the end of June and I'm going for the same style dress -- it doesn't matter what time of the year it is as long as you feel comfortable and it looks gorgeous.

Thanks ladies! Yes I have tried it on and even though it was a few sizes too small I really like the way it looked! I sat in it for over a 1/2 hour staring in the mirror! Anwayz the funny part is I didn't even choose the dress. The lady at the salon told me to pick a few dresses so I picked like almost 15 of them. And then she casually came in and said 'THIS IS THE DRESS SWEETY!' I looked at her like 'yea ok!' I tried it on and me and my MOH still can't find anything wrong with it! Hopefully my mom likes it-She's not happy about the whole Ivory thing
So I guess I answered my own question cause I begin to fall in love with this dress more and more.

Everyone is gonna have diff opinions, for me personally, its too much just b/c i equate summer with an airy feeling... I tried on those big ones and got lost in it and it jus weighed me down and noway in hell could i pic myself in 100 degre august weather sweatin it out in that thing... i was hot even in the store ... material on some doesnt give much to breathe in

but if you like it, love it actually... just go for it who cares if some people dont think its 'right'

I tried that dress on. It is absolutely beautiful. And I don't think it's too much for July. You'll be inside with the AC for a good part of the day.

THe dress I'm pining over is the same thing...very big!! I don't think it's too much at all! Go for it girl!! Who is that first dress by? It's very similar to the one I think I'm going with, which is a Mary's gown. Love it!! It's beautiful!!

Beautiful dress! I think you should wear whatever type of dress you want, regardless of time of year. I originally had a July wedding (moved to June) and I have a big poofy satin dress.
