I went to see a sample of my centerpiece and I still think it has too many greens? Please dont pay attention to the placement of flowers because this was after I took some from the other side onto the side I was looking at and I'm no florist obviously. I love the colors since it's an end of summer wedding but aren't there too many greens? Like in between the flowers? FH's family thinks I'm nuts and that it looks fine but most of them had candle centerpieces for their weddings. For $20 extra they can put in 6 extra hydrangea and 12 roses in each centerpiece. I thinks that might be better. There will also be hanging amaranthus but they couldn't get any in in time. Please let me know what you think. Thank you!
By the way - I asked FH 'so what do you think about the centerpiece??' He looks at it and says 'Looks like Easter' UGGGGGGGHHH!! They never have good answers!!! LOL
I personally think it is too much green! Are you still using Burton's?

Too much green?
I feel it is a bit too much green. I think it could be a bit fuller and for only $20 they'll add all of that, then I would do it...well depending on how many cps you needed, haha

No because I saw a few centerpieces from there that had too much filler too and babys breath even though my friend asked for no babys breath. With this place they tell me exactly how many flowers are in each and if I want to add then the pricing to add flowers is great. I just wanted something I can customize and a lot of places don't give you a sample until a few months before and my OCD was not ok with that. LOl
edited for horrible spelling! LOL

IMO it's a little green for me. I had to make a few changes to our centerpieces as well when I saw the first go at it. I actually have a pic of our sample in my album. They are going to make me another sample based on the changes I requested.
You have to be happy with your decision. If you don't like it then tell them to make the changes you want.

It looks like I might be the odd one out but I think it looks beautiful as is. If I had to change one thing, I think bigger flowers would be pretty.

I think it looks so pretty as is. I personally like the green. I dont think its too much and not enough flowers. But if its too much green for u and u can afford the extra $20 per CP then go for it.

Instead of paying the $20 per cp, can they just take out some of the green so that it changes the ratio and it looks like more flowers than green without having to pay to add more flowers?

Re: Too much green?
Yeah thats a good point. Trust me it had more green...I took out some greenery called leather something...you see it on regular bouquets. But I did say next time take out some of the green. The only reason I don't mind is that I only have 7 high centerpieces. LOL that's why the $20 wasnt such an issue. I have 8 low centerpieces too but she said those wont have greens like that. But good point on just asking to minimize the greens! Thanks you.
And Jassy...I love you. xoxoxox you are so sweet!

Personally, and this is just my taste, I think there are too many colors.I would take out one color and it would look more harmonious with the green.

I don't think there is too much grenery...I think it is beautiful as is!!
You have to remember that anything that you put in water and room temperature air will bloom... so by the end of the night the green spaces will fill in.
The leather is a cheap green for florists and they use it for EVERYTHING. I personally don't like it and I always ask for alternative greens. You could also ask for filler flowers (which are typically included in the price of the flower stems), like wax flower, solidago, statice, or caspia. You could also consider non-traditional greens like variegated greens (white and green), ferns (fiddleheads are colored), bells of Ireland (which you already have in there), dusty miller, or myrtle.
There are plenty of options! Hope I could be a help!

IMO, it is too much green. I also agree with the above poster who said that she thinks it's too many colors. Looking at this bouquet, I'm not able to tell what your main colors are or what sort of feel your wedding will have.

My main color is silver so I needed color int he flowers or everything would look so drab. I like the colors...just think it should be arranged better and with less greens. But thank you everyone for your input. i got a lot of good ideas from it.
