I feel like I have to many things on my registries. I look at other peoples registry, and they seem to not have as much as I do.
We have never lived together and need everything. I am not asking for china, because I feel I need so many other things. Is it okay to have a big registry. I figure people will just buy what they want.
76 items at one store 80 items at another store 17 items at another store
Many of these items are things under $25.
We will probably have about 40 people at the shower.

I think that's fine. You need lots of stuff, so you're registering for it. Hopefully you'll get a discount on the things people don't buy you. And if most of the gifts are under $25, it's really okay. People are going to want to spend more than that, so they'll buy you two or three things as one gift. Don't sweat it.

I have alot on mine also. I figure that I get what I get and what I don't get I can get on my won little by little. I did put the china on mine.

Thanks! I am not even asking for things I don't need. Of course I have a few splurged items, but who doesn't.

I don't know how many guests you are having at your wedding, but according to Macy's registry 'Helpful Hints' suggests 'We recommend 350 gifts for 225 guests'

Thanks! I am not even asking for things I don't need. Of course I have a few splurged items, but who doesn't.
Also, I like when people register for lots of stuff, because nothing is worse than going to buy someone a gift and there's nothing left on the registry. I love being able to choose from a few things in my price range instead of getting one setting of flatware, one tea cup and an oven mitt.

We are having about 150-160 people at the wedding. Probably about 40 or more women at the shower.

I got 'yelled' at by my MOH for having a large registry. I told her 'Why do you care?'
Honestly, it's a wish list. You can have as much on there as you want. Just think, you'll have a great selection for your 10% coupons after your wedding (if your store offers them).

If you don't mind me asking, how large was your registry.
It is very hard to have a small registry when you have never lived out of your house. We need so many things. I figured people can get, what they can afford. At least they will have alot to choose from.

it's okay girl!! You need everything! I wish we got engaged before we moved in together cause we went out and bought everything so now people are asking us what we need..and to be honest we don't need much! We spent so much money on everything we needed ourselves.. hopefully by the time our wedding comes.. we'll figure out we need more things. But for now all I really really need is good pots and pans!! I wish I had your registry list!!! could've save a lot of money!
