When i called to arrange hair and makeup for me and my girls, they said to plan on doing my trial 3 months before my wedding. HTH

Not at all! I have already done my make up trial and booked. You actually should start doing them now so you can book who u love. They book up quick

i don't think it's too early for either really. You could definitely start looking to do makeup trials now if you want (especially if you are thinking of using someone who is high in demand - you can lock down your date early).
As far as hair, I would maybe wait until you have your veil or headpiece so you have a better idea of what you are working with and then look to book a hair trial.
I don't think I am going to go for a hair trial until Jan but I do know where I am going.

i have lots of weddings to this year so im going to set up my make up/hair trails before i go to the weddings .. just have to pray they dont make me look scary for the weddings lol!
i dont think its too soon.. what happens if your not happy with them.. i know i wouldnt want to be looking for make up/ hair person 3 months before my wedding

My mom is a hair dresser and has been doing my hair all of my life! So we were doing some different styles the other night...i don't think its ever to early to get a start on something like this!

Same here... I have a trial on Saturday and my uncles wedding at night... let's hope I don't look like a raccoon !

Nah, I pretty much booked all my vendors, including makeup and hair right away. It's better so you get who you want.

not at all! look around, and see who you like, you'll still give yourself plenty of time to research and do the trials - some artists book up quickly
