im a little surprised by those... except for Etta James & firehouse... i dont think ive ever heard any of those songs as the first song

Yeah really!

And usually Etta James is #1!

It is such a beautiful song though. I still want to play it at the wedding.

The intro paragraph says they were selected from the last 50 years of hits. None of them are appealing for a modern wedding (imo). But I guess they were the biggies back in their time.
