i know someone on here got a frank sinatra impersonator and that sounded cute. I think somoene else had something about some other characters showing up so it has been done. Im not sure how you incorporate that into the reception though.

i think they just kinda show up take some pics and leave - i am just worried about a person running around w/ a giant baseball head... i think it sounds fun and i think it sounds strange all @ the same time.

if you were a guest - what would be your take on it??

i might stand there with that look of 'OMG' to be truly honest. remember that wacky post about the star wars characters at a wedding? yeah....maybe the characters should stay out of weddings...JMO....other guests might not see it as sweet but as weird.

I love Mr. Met - lol - and frighteningly my family would have all thought it was the highlight of the wedding. But we are all admitted baseball-o-holics. I think others might feel that it was strange though.

i keep thinking about it and laughing hysterically!!! i have requested pricing from shea - i have to see based on his cost. i also think the family would get a kick out of it - but hey i have 5 months to debate it...

what about instead of having mr. met at the reception having it the rehersal dinner or enagment party instead?

overall if you personally dont mind having a costumed character at your wedding thene go for it but if your not sure then for the reception i would go with the grooms cake like was suggested above
