I am paying for the reception and so forth and FH is paying for rings and HM.

In real life I have my accounts and he has his. When it comes time to get a joint account then I will be in charge of the finances bc he leaves things all over the place and is very unorganized.

We both are in charge of managing our finances for the wedding and our everyday bills.
Although, when I buy new things for myself (with my own $$), I use the old: 'I've had this FOREVER!! '

We have a joint account we did that when we got engaged.
I take care of all the Bills.
We are both paying for the wedding on our own.

we dont live together so we have separate accounts now. But it'll be a joint account soon and we'll both be in charge of the $....although i suspect i'll be charging more of it

For the wedding I am paying for most of it...in actual life..right now we both handle our own money but I am def. better at managing money so when we get married and get joint accounts I will be handleing the money issues

We are both paying for our wedding. No help from the parents really...cause his brother just got married and well I have 6 kids in my family and would feel horrible asking my parents for money when they would have to do that for all the other kids then!! Plus it feels nice to be able to say we paid for it all...and how great it came out...

sorry for the long story...

but for life- right now we have our own seperate accounts due to our work money being placed in it and we have a joint account which is our savings. However we are going to be combinding our accounts soon anyway....

But Fh is def better at managing money- he even does excel sheets lolol i love him though!!

When we get married FH will take care of all the bills and I will take care of the business part. that is his strength and my weakness and my stregth and his weakness.

Wedding we have a joint savings & a joint checking account since we are both paying for it together...

and in life we have our own checking and savings account and he pays his own bills and I pay my own... we bought our house together and I am the 'manager' of the house bills...I tell him what needs to be transfered into the house account to pay the bill etc...

For now, we pay our own bills separately, but when we're married he'll be in charge... and I'm williningly giving up control.. I HATE paying bills and I'm a terrible budget-er.... he's so much better at it than I am.
