:-(

:-(

I've been just lurking all morning - my head hurts so bad, I couldn't even gather the strength to type.

It's slowly getting better -- and I got someone to cover my shift, so I can just sit home and relax.

I hate migraines.

FH is bringing Calcium Magnesium home from work for me, too. I'm going to start taking it.

I've also decided that I am going to stay on the pill until the wedding, I want to be able to regulate my period and not get it for the wedding or HM, but, after that, I'm taking a few months off to see if the pill is the cause of these headaches.

Re: :-(

Thanks, girls.

I couldn't get anyone to cover me last night, and I had to work with it.

I came home, and took a vicodin, and felt wonderful, for 2 hours, and then paranoid, like, when you smoke pot and get paranoid, it was weird. Then, I took another vicodin b/c the headache came back -- and it never left again.

So, there's really no point in taking another vicodin.

Oh God - i'm so sorry!!!

Will drinking any soda help? Sometimes a headache can be killed with caffeine...even migraines!

Re: :-(

I took some mydol stuff that has caffeine in it -- I hate soda. Right now, it isn't terrible.

I might make coffee in a bit -- I was trying to avoid it, in case I wanted to go back to sleep before.

That su*cks. I am still fighting through mine -- I am gonna say not as bad as yours since I am at work and posting hahaha!

The coffee helps -- not miracles but it does help a little -- until the jittery shakes start

Sorry to hear that. I know magnesium is suppsed to help for the headaches and also TMJ. I started taking 250 mg a day a few weeks ago. I'll let you know if it works.

Re: :-(

I'm afraid of the jittery shakes -- esp. since all I've eaten so far is a granola bar -- and it took me a half hour to do so.

Everything I ate yesterday came right back up before I went to work.

However, I did look sexy at work -- with no makeup, my hair undone -- and sunglasses in the rain.

Aww that stinks!

Have you ever tried the patch for migraines (goes on your forehead)? My old coworker would wear it at work, no other choice. They did help her.

Definitely let me know -- another girl suggested it yesterday -- so, I'm giving it a try.

Not yet -- I really just need to go to the DR for all of this -- but, I want to wait for better coverage after the wedding, because I'm sure I'll have to see a specialist!

HERE'S A TEST!!!!

I get migraines REALLY bad. My sister is in nursing school and during her clinical she found out something very interesting about Migraines.

LOOK INTO A RED LIGHT. Red light bulb, The Red light from the brake of someone's car, ANY red light. I guess this is suppose to take any the migraine instantly.

Let me know how you make out.

ha ha.... I know. It's finally calmed down to the point that I'm not feeling like someone is stabbing me in the head.

I did sit in the shower before, with the water running on my head, steaming hot, and now, I'm a little better.
