okay ladies--i'm gonna see if this is worth it and try and begin organizing something.

last year the 06 ladies had a super GTG at Fox Hollow to celebrate the end of their year--i'm in the process of finding out info about this for us!

some ladies said they'd rather do it in january--instead of december---so i'm posting some dates to get an idea of the best one--last year they had it the last week of december and it wound up nicely -- but we'll see what works for us

this would be a GTG open to husbands as well. we'd all pay a price per person -- and enjoy ourselves. so please pick a date that you think would be good -- and from there i will see how this could work out--and whether i can move this fwd. i already FMd kim at client services and she has said that she'd be happy to give the assistance in this from her end!


ETA: i know there are OOT brides and such---but for price and convenience -- this GTG can NOT be held Fri-Sun --- for the sheer price. PLUS having a GTG like this on a wknd around the holidays----well i think too many ppl would drop out cause they would have family functions and parties to attend. sorry!!

I voted for the 27th. It's a slow week at work and I may take off on Friday. I weeks difference wouldn't matter money wise to me. Keep me posted Melissa. I'm in!

any date works for me... so whatever the majority chooses.

ETA: just throwing out an idea... thursday 12/27 seems like a 'nicer' date then the others because it is on a thursday so it is closer to the weekend AND it is before 08 and really- i would think we would want to celebrate before 08 hits... but just throwing it out there- any day works for me! thanks!

If at all possible, later in the week or Friday/Saturdays would be better for the OOT girls. Obviously this puts us in competition with the weddings going on those nights, but throwing it out there.

unfortunately that really isn't an option--it has to be during the week since that will be when we get the best rate -- and this kind of needs to be cost-effective since its around the holidays. it would raise the price considerably -- plus a wknd around the holidays would probably cause us to lose a lot more ppl to family functions and such

We had a blast at ours last year! We had gotten so close and it was the perfect ending to a perfect year!

ETA: I'm gonna vote for Dec 27th because that's the only day that might be possible for us since it's a holiday week and it's toward the end of the week. **fingers crossed**

I Defintely have off from Work on Thurday's so that is the Best Day for us.

I understand that ppl *think* that a friday or sat. would be great---but in my experience with ANY g2g that happens on a weekend, ppl DROP OUT at the last minute and more often than not, people's weekends are full of family & friend events--especially during such a festive time of year.

i will find out the price for the heck of it -- but again, the PRICE of a fri or sat. would probaby be TOO MUCH for ppl to spend. i'm so sorry for the inconvenience for ppl who can't make it during the week, but majority of the ladies will probably find it easier to do during the week.

when it comes to G2Gs--we just can't please everyone, and it sux...sorry .

I understand. I voted for the 27th as we may be down on the Island then from Christmas in Binghamton with the in-laws.

We could do that Thursday most likely! We will be out on the island visiting my family for christmas

oh darn...all dates are tough for me. Dec 27 will be in So Carolina visiting FIL...and during the week when it's the first week back to school after break is just tough- especially being on NJ.

But won't those brides who get married that weekend be on their HM's still come January 7th, 8th or 9th??

I would guess that they would either still be on them or just coming back from them.

We liked that date b/c last year they had it on that date and everyone said it was great but we'll see whichever does better in the poll.

I voted 12/27!!
