*** ?!?

So, I have a ton of OOT people coming to my bridal shower. Its May 8th - the only reason I know is because people have to stay with me. I dont know anything else about it just the date.

Isnt is supposed to be that people GO to the shower and I show up a bit later?!?!? Now theyre all like Oh great we'll just meet at your place and everybody will go over together. *** - no thanks. Im bringing the party to my party???

Am I wrong?

it can be however you want it to be...

if you dont want to show up with everyone then tell them that...

i think it makes sense for you to go with everyone ... the only reason they'd go before you is to surprise you.

but if you don't like the idea, then tell them and don't do it

I knew the date of mine, but my mom asked me to show up at like 2:15 while the party actually began at 2:00 PM. I would think they'd wanna get there before you and see if they could help out with decorating and let you get ready in peace, but it may be different because they are actually staying with you.

Some of them are not even staying with me .. Just coming to my place and hanging out until the shower.. Um, I want to get ready people - get the hell out of my house (yes, mom youre included)!

Yeah, I don't blame you. I would've wanted my space so that I could get ready in peace. And I had it, they actually ran late! FH and I had to go for a walk while they finished decorating! Just tell them to hang out elsewhere!
