some big name companies are blocked as well such as B U R T O N S which gets good reviews..so im not sure

I'd like to know too. If there is something wrong with them for some reason I'd like to know before I book with any of them.

I think that if they do not pay to be vendors on here then they are blocked. They probably only want to advertise and promote the ones that pay.

There's a bunch of rules, but at least there are ways to get around it. By using ***'s or adding spaces, you'll be able to write out their names.

Not all of the vendors are blocked because they are bad...I know tons of girls used the makeup artist I worked with but she is blocked here. Bad blood between them I guess, but shes awesome.

That's not true. There's a different reason for every vendor why they are blocked. They've had some issue in the past with LIW- even if it wasn't an issue with a bride.
For instance, Channa plaques are hugely popular on this site. She's not a LIW vendor (she's actually based out of Cali.) but she was never blocked on her before. A few months ago she changed her website and it said something along the lines of 'The official LIW name plaque vendor' which was a no-no and she was blocked until she took it down.

thats not true, you can be a non vendor on here and still be talked about. most of the time its bc the vendor had a specific issue with LIW or a bride and they voilated a rule and were banned.
