I need to pick a song for my father/daughter dance that I will be dancing with my oldest brother being that my father passed away 7 years ago
I really love 'I loved her first' by heartland
and now i recently heard
'You can let go' by crystal shawanda
They are both really beautiful songs. I don't know which one to pick or which one would be more appropriate being that I'm dancing with my big bro in honor of my daddy.

I love you can let go, but I didn't really want to use it for my wedding.
I plan on using I loved her first also so I'm partial.

since you are dancing with your brother and your dad has passed away, which i'm so sorry about and i get bc i lost my mom, i would do 'you can let go now'. i think it is very appropriate for the situation
not to throw a monkey in the wrench, but one more to consider 'in my daughters eyes'. its such a beautiful song and at the end there is a line something like....'and when i'm gone, i'll be there, in my daughters eyes' ugh - just got chills for you

i have never heard you can let go, but i just listened to it- how pretty! i can see how you are torn between the two.
i like i loved her first better personally---- i can't use it because my sister used it for her wedding, but that is my vote for you

I think that you are going to cry your eyes out to you can let go now. since it is an emotional time to be without your dad make sure that you can handle the song. It is a very beautiful song though.
