Torn between 2 dresses! HELP!

Re: Torn between 2 dresses! HELP!

I understand about wanting to be unique.
I was hesitant about my dress because it is was typical gown & I wanted to be different but when I put it on I just felt like a bride in it.
I love the picture of the first one but if you feel better in the 2nd one go with that!

Both are beautiful, but different in their own way.
If you don't want a strapless, then go for number 1. IMO this dress is a classically elegant style.
Number 2 has been around in various versions.
How important is your mom's reaction to the dress ?

I do have to tell you that the corset back Maggie gowns do NOT require any kind of strap. The corset sits on your hips and keeps the dress in place. I wore Maggie's Michelle and never once stuck my thumbs in the dress to pull it up. My seamstress velcroed my bra to the dress to keep the bodice flat against my (ample) chest. The only change I made to my Maggie was to add sheer sleeves so that I would not feel so exposed, being a big 'girl'.

I love the first one. The neckline is gorgeous, I'm not a big fan of strapless dresses. Go with what you are most comfortable in.

I have to say I love them both- but I love the second one just a bit more.

altho #1 is unique and very stylish, #2 is really lovely tooin it's own way. the lacy edge and beading are very pretty.

I think the most important thing is how do you feel in it; how does it fit - - are you comfortable because it's going to be a long day.
The way you describe how you look and feel in #2 vs #1 I vote for #2. If you feel like you look so thin in it I think this feeling will enhance how you look and feel and you will glow in it and more than make up for the dress being a more traditional bridal style. That's my take on it anyway.HTH
