torn between distinctive floral and flowers by brian!! pls help!

Had the same issue as I am a Crest Hollow Bride also!!

But booked with Distinctive and so far love them!! Seeing my sample first week of july!!!!!!!!

I met with both of these florists (as well as Pedestals) this past weekend and hope to make my decision this week. My issue with Distinctive is that Kelly would not provide me with a copy of contract with price quotes to take home and review with my fiance. Does anyone else find this odd? She also didnt tell me about this policy till the end of the meeting when I asked to take it home to review, so I had no notes or anything to leave with! That's bad business as far as I am concerned. I tried to go from memory when talking to FH about what she said but couldnt recall the breakdown of the prices or anything. My other issue with them was that they dont do their work on the premises so I couldnt see their work room and they couldnt show me any samples of the kinds of flowers she was talking about. At both Pedestals and Flowers by Brian I was able to see the work space, and they also put together sample bouquets for me on the spot with the flowers they were suggesting to me. Did anyone else have this same experience with Distinctive? I wanted so badly to like them because so many people rave about them on here, but they just seemed lacking compared to the other two. Thoughts?

I met with other florists who wouldn't give me contracts either so for me it wasn't that odd. Although they don't have a showroom kelly is having us come back sept 15th (almost a year away from my wedding) to show me samples of everything I chose that way I can see all of our ideas put into reality and have the chance to mess around w/ diff flowers while they are all still in season. then a month before my wedding we are going back to see the finalized samples to make sure we still love them and don't want to change anything. I guess it is all preference and ppl look for different things in vendors but for me distinctive just felt right. i met w/ flowers by brian too but I just didn't get that feeling i did from distinctive. i guess its all just preference. no matter who you chose im sure your flowers will be beautiful!

i didnt meet with distintive but this is one of the exact things i loved about fbb. noone else did that for us. i do like that flowers by michele does one wedding at a time though too.
