Tossing

Has anyone given any thought about releasing Doves after the ceremony?

My cousin did that at his wedding this past May. One of them pooped on a guest. It was a nice idea but after they released them (and the one pooped) they just sat on the roof of the church - didn't even fly around at all.

Oh boy - there goes that idea. Thanks for giving me something to think about. Okay... back to square one. I guess I am just going to go with bubbles or off white rose pedals.

I actually just booked them. I asked them the poop and they said they can't control that but what they don't do is feed them that day so there is really nothig to poop.

Lets just hope that doesn't happen

How much did they charge you for the Doves? How many Doves did you get? Is it something you buy or rent?

You should be careful that no one from PETA is visiting these boards!! Starving poor birds so that they can sit on the roof of the church for your wedding...kind of harsh. JMO.
