tossing rose petals

for those of you who are having (or did have) rose petals tossed, what did you put the petals in?

Some options are:

A few baskets of petals and assigning someone to pass the petals out by the handful.

Petal cones - but I do not want to make 150 of them. Also, is there a problem with transporting them since the cones are not covered? Is there an easy template?
Can they be purchased?

How many petals per bag/cone?
