Ever feel like people stalk this site? I don't know if I'm just feeling a bit on edge or what. I'm thinking of terminating this user info for a more private one. It would suck to lose all my member posts though... The internet and google prevents everything from being private...

I would love if there was some kind of members only privacy or if you could somehow be invisible But then i guess we would kind of have to do a friend req thing and at the same time like how everyones friends

I don't understand why people would get stalked on here. Do they not have anything else better to do? There could be more privacy options, but before I joined I enjoyed all the helpful tips and reviews of places.

I believe you can fm client services and ask them to change your name so you don't loose your posts.

ditto to what mara said. i too was discouraged in the beginning b/c vendors would literally quote things i had said on here back to me and it made me feel super awkward! maybe just try not to refer to vendors by name or post on FB where there is a tad more privacy?

I think a lot of us have had an instance where someone (friend, family or vendor) brings up something we've said on here, which can be creeeeepy!
I found out that something I said was showing on the first page of google for my name (because we were talking about names), which made me realize some things I need to watch out for or bend the truth a bit.
I changed my name once, but early on so no one was really confused, and now I just watch what I say carefullly without censoring myself too much :)

I just got nervous and googled myself bc I am being FB stalked by someone and its causing major problems. But I google'd myself and found only my teacherspayteachers stuff and randomly my account on etsy?? IDK why bc Ive only bought maybe 2 things from there?

since I worked in the indsutry (in NJ but that's not exactly far), I am definitly worried about stalkers. My boss would definitly troll the internet looking for stuff about her store!
