Totally forgot to tell you girls..had my 1st dress fitting

On saturday. I was so nervous..I picked out my dress in October and haven't seen it since then!

But it was perfect!! I ordered with hollow-to-hem measurements, and it was exact! It was kinda big in the chest- which is the funniest thing ever since dresses are usually too small there. I took pics, but didn't post them yet...I'm waiting for my shrug and veil and tiara to come in before I do that.

I'm so happy that I still LOVE it. MY dress was soo much nicer than the sample I tried on!

also, what is your timeline for fittings? how many? you are only a week after me

im trying to figure out when to do mine and i was afraid starting now would be too early, but im only going to be in ny may 8-june 28... and then a week before the wedding

I got a long-line bra at Georgettes in Hicksville. I love it, so comfy and really holds me up- which i needed.

I just went to check that the hem was right and that the dress fit! Since all that needs to be done is the bust taken in and the bustle- I made my first fitting appt for June 24th. She said I'll probably go for that one and then one last one about 3 weeks before the wedding.

I don't think it's too early, I'd rather it was done already! I would do yours MidJune- see how many you need and then go back the week before the wedding. Is your dress in??
