TOTALLY FREAKING OUT: Invitations...HELP!

Okay, I have to give my designer all the information for the invites, RSVP, direction, etc....like 'yesterday' - and I haven't done a single thing....

What do I put, where do I put it, is there a website with examples of what to write????

My parents and FI's parents are splitting the Reception site and we're paying for everything else...does that matter? we want to include both of them as hosting...who goes first? mr & mrs, do we include names???

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I'm never going to drink again! I get hungover ONCE in my life, don't come to work and now I'm so behind!!!!!!!!RRRRRRRGH.

However, teh Martini's were FABBBBB!

Now, go to VerseIt.com and read through different invite options.

You will be fine!

Can anyone post what they wrote on their invitations? I wasn't really a fan of anything on those sites...

Re: TOTALLY FREAKING OUT: Invitations...HELP!

We paid for basically our entire wedding ourselves. His parents paid for our favors and My mom paid for my dress. My dad paid for nothing.

I wanted to put all their names on the invitation regardless and thought this was the most fair way.

I think what I wrote might work for you because we are in the same situation. All three of 'us' are paying.

Together with their parents,

and
Mrs. Groom's Family

LEESE
and
LEESE's FIANCE

request the honour of your prescence
as they exchange marriage vows...

blah blah blah

Christine
to
Richard

Just an example or:

Both parents names at the top requesting the honor of your presence at the marriage of their children...Christine & Richard

Sounds great!

You can say:
'at the marriage reception of their children
Christine Ann XXX
&
Richard XXXXX'

But either way is nice! Did you decide on which invite to go with (more gold or more white)??? I don't remember seeing a post.
