I was in Kappa Alpha Theta (Mu Chapter)...just loooking to see if there are any other Thetas in the neighborhood. My chapter was close with the Kappas too (Kappa Kappa Gamma)
Any other greek life girls out there? Shout your letters out girls!! (you might find some nearby sisters. )

I'm a Gamma Phi Beta! Zeta Epsilon Chapter at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA! Even though I still go to school, I'm in my 5th year so considered an alum... but I still participate in events with the chapter (rush, philanthropy, etc.) because I am basically in denial about being an alum, lol! I'm pretty excited... Wednesday night is our big/lil night and I'm becoming a big big big!

I was at Allegheny College in Meadville. LOL I did the same thing...had an extra year...denied being a supersenior and took part in everything. LOL oh my gosh big/little night was SO MUCH FUN! Send me pics!! YAY greek life!!

Yay for greek life, it brought us to our husbands! lol
In my bridal party I'm having my big, little, one of my pledge sisters, and my 'lil crescent' (we have temporary bigs called crescents that you get on bid night (our symbol is the crescent moon) until you get your real big like half way through pledging).. along with other family/friends!

I'm inviting some girls I still talk to. I'm still VERY close with a handful of them...but with me being in Long Island and about 99/9% of my friends still in Pittsburgh, it's hard not to lose touch.
Yes, lots of marriages out of greek life. LOL I almost married a Theta Chi man (jerk...but not because he was Theta Chi).
As far as having them in the wedding party, unfortunately no. But I will have one of my sisters read Corinthians 13....that's a big part of Theta. :)
So exciting!

im an only child...so i dont have 'real' sisters...so im using my friend from my good old days and my bfs from college (which 2 happen to be sorority sisters...which as close to real sisters as i get!!!)
i could have used my cousins but i have too many that im close with and didnt want to have to pick between them...and they dont live close.

Aww I hope that doesn't happen to me and FH when we leave Pittsburgh, but I'm sure we'll be out here alot since this is where he is from! We actually might stay out here for a few years after the wedding though since houses are cheaper than LI!
I never read Pledged, it sounds good though!
I should've cut my bridal party down a bit... lol I couldn't chose so I just included everyone: my real sis is my MOH, FH's 2 sisters, my 4 sorority sisters, my cousin, and my roomie from freshman/sophomore year! 10 girls, omg!

OMG I cant believe it took me this long to see this post! I am an AXD Alpha Xi Delta from the Epsilon Lambda chapter at Rider University in NJ. My sisters are going to make up a nice chunk of my guest list and my entire BP! I dont have any close femal relatives or any sisters so I decided to make it all sorority. FH was not greek I would have loved to have a sorority/frat wedding because I have been to a few of those and they are a blast!!! Yay for greek girls!!!
BTW, I am still a little sorority obsessed. I see away messages of actives on days like Bid Day, Big/Little, and it just gets me so upset that I graduated and became a grown up.

Yeah i'm still a litte mini-obsessed with it. I still have my pledge sweatshirt (I REFUSE to get rid of my letters! LOL) and a bunch of stuff that I saved from big/little night and initiation night. I had such a great time with it...i'm still not ready to let it go. And I graduated in 2001!!! :)
My sister was in it, too... we're one of a handful of biological sisters that pledged. My sister is my MOH, one of my pledge sisters and my 'big sister' are my bridesmaids!
