totally ticked...have to vent...NWR
I'm going to jump on the band wagon of using this site as a pseudo-shrink...LOL...I'm going to try to shorten the story...My MOH is my best friend for forever...she was hanging out with one of FH's friends who made it very clear that he was not looking for anything serious with her, which she understood. As an aside, MOH is very level-headed...I've never seen her do anything irrational, psycho, etc. This hooking up thing carried on for like 2 years.
Fast forward to past 4th of July...we're all out having fun (read: drinking), he's all over her and he takes her home and tells her he's been stupid all this time, really cares about her, blah blah blah and then attempts to get a little somethin somethin. She didn't oblige and said let's go back out. He said fine, I'll meet you there, I just have to do something. She comes back to the bar. He comes like a 1/2 hour later with his ex girlfriend and fully ignores my MOH, like she's not even there and proceeds to treat her like yesterday's trash for the rest of the night.
My position is that I don't care that he's not into her as a girlfriend, but the way he treated her that night in front of everybody, which was unprovoked entirely, is complete BS and I will not tolerate anyone humiliating her like that. She doesn't deserve it. She is one of the nicest people ever.
This morning my FH informed me that I need to apologize to his friend for being rude to him the last time I saw him (I wasn't rude, I said hi but didn't converse with him...no need to IMO) and 'get over' the way he treated MOH. F that! When he apologizes to MOH for treating her like that, I'll let it go but there is no way I'm going to let anyone treat her like that and pretend like it's okay.
The thing that is truly making me mad, is that the guy is FH's friend's friend...not a good friend of FH's, more like an acquaintence. I'm sorry, but I'm not adjusting my loyalty for some piece of crap doofus FH parties with on occasion. F that!
