Totally unrelated to Becki's post BUT FH went to the dentist the other day...
and came home and told me his dentist offered us both a FREE cleaning before the wedding! And FH asked him about doing a whitening and he said don't waste money on a professional whitening, many of the drug store ones are exactly the same, so we're going to do that. But yay for nice dentists!

boo for having english/german teeth. we both have sucky teeth. our children are probably going to need dentures when they're 4.

my dentist offered us the same thing as well but we never got around to getting it done.

That's great! It makes such a huge difference! We both went for cleanings the week before the wedding.

booo i just paid $51 for my cleaning last night but got a HUGE care package of toothbrushes, floss, tooth paste, etc, etc (enough to probably last me a year )

I read on here awhile ago, a girl had a friend who was a dentist and told her to rinse her mouth with Maalox before whitening with over the counter whitners because it turns the mouth from acidic to basic and the whitening effect is greater.
