I know some people on the board have been offended in the past by issues like this but I really need help here so here goes.
My wedding is on a sun at 11am in Wading River...2 hours from my home and my regular hairdresser. I need to find someone in Suffolk that can do African American hair...someone who will travel to my hotel in holtzville or a shop that will open at 6am....any help is greatly apprecaited.
As it stands now I a going to have my hair done sat morn which I really dont want to do because A) everyone will see it at the rehersal dinner sat nite and...
B) Ill mess it up when I go to sleep!

I know that you responded to my email, subject: My wedding, 9/15/02, can you please send it again. I deleted my whole entire message, which I posted again.
Another suggestion: After the wedding and you take off your veil... you can always add on accessories, so that your hair can look different.

Most girls I know have their hair done the day of the wedding, not before. I think you are right to want it done in the morning. I am not African American but I am using Elena (just search for her name on the boards). She is a bridal assistant. I am sure she has experience with your hair type. At least call her and ask, if not, she may know someone who does.
