It's not abnormal to have more than just your BP at your b-party. Tell your BP that you want to include and involve your other group of friends with the b-party, especially since they aren't BMs. Give both groups each other's emails or something so they can all plan it together. That way, your 'fun' friends can give their opinions and hopefully shine some fun onto the b-party planning.

Re: Tough situation
I think you can totally have 2. My friend got married in March and they went to Miami... I was in the BP and could not go in them middle of busy season (and could not afford it since we had just bought our house). I wanted to go, but it was impossible. So I joined a different group of friends and we went for a burlesque dinner/show in the city and to a bar/club after and still had a blast. But she had 2 and no one in either group seemed to be bothered by it...i didn't mind and I was in the BP!
the bridal party should be throwing your bachelorette party for you
If the wild party girls want to take you out then let them and just have a good time, but I wouldn't suggest it as a bachelorette party....

Re: Tough situation
I say speak to both groups, tell them you want them to plan it together. Give them each others numbers and see how it pans out.
I mean, if there's really no compromise, then yes, I think you could do dinner with the one group and something more wild with the other, but see if they can't work together on your B-party.

Re: Tough situation
You can absolutely have more than one group of friends at your bachelorette party. The party is not meant for them, it's meant for you. So you can definitely mix everyone up.
I plan to have several of my different groups of friends there....my BP, old co-workers, friends from grad school, and friends that are just really good friends
ETA: Generally the bride gives a list of people she wants invited to the BP......and then they take care of it from there. But anyone you tell them you want invited, should be invited.

Re: Tough situation
all of my friends have had two bacherlorette parties. one local & one vacation. the bride did the initial planning (deciding where & when to go & who to invite). then the MOH took over & did the actual research & inviting.

Ok so it might be hard for MOH 1 to plan.......but MOH 2 doesn't have to drink if she doesn't want to.
Do you have anything in particular that YOU want to do??? Because if you do, then that's what they should be planning!

I would tell your BP that you want to go to MTL or AC or whatever...
