As our honeymoon, I was thinking of visiting our 'ancestral lands' - Italy, Ireland and Germany! Any suggestions for time of year (doesn't have to be directly after our wedding) or sights to see when we're there?

I went to Ireland when I was 17 and pretty much anywhere you go will be great - there is so much history and the tradition just smacks you right in the face. Plus, in the almost ten years since I've been there, APPS have happened! You can download things that will give you walking tours of wherever you happen to be. I loved it and wish I could go back - we went in March and it was rainy on and off, but it was beautiful. There was one day we were on a bus ride during a rainstorm, and they stopped to let us take pics off bluffs and it was like a perfect moment looking at the coastline and everything. GO!

Definitely go to Jesolo in Italy...it is right across the sea from Venice and has beautiful beaches, an amazing city/town, and even a camping ground with little houses and a community pool. So amazing! :) Enjoy!
