Towel Cake

Who knows about this?

I did this for my sisters shower...

you get 2 of the same sized towels for as many layers as you want...I did 3...so I had 2 bath...2 hand...and 2 washclothes...

you fold them into 1/4s and then roll them up...when one finishes...you do put the second towl at its end...I pinned them with fancy straight pins...

to secure them I stuck of dowel in the middle...and then I tied matching ribbon around each layer...

I think I have a picture...let me check

ok...this picture isn't great...and I swear that the ribbon did match...the picture is just off...Im not that crafty of a person...so take it with a grain of salt...

Those are the favors placed in a wooden laundry basket..they were SO CUTE!!! They are sitting on the table in the front of the cake too. They were ceramic tea cups that she found in a dollar store! She put tea bags in them that said 'Lara&Anthony Love is Brewing' and our date in them, and a teaspoon (also from the dollar store) that had hershey kisses on it, and a ribbon around it that said 'A Spoonful of Kisses from the Soon to Be Mrs'. She made me a whole set!
My sis is the best.

Here are some of the gifts...The left is a bathroom basket. It has towels, shower curtain, curtain liner, hooks, linen sprays, sachets, candles, and an adorable bathroom picture (it's in the back can't see it too well in the pic). This was so pretty!

The little basket in the middle is the table basket. It has a table centerpiece, 4 placemats and napkins, napkin rings, a tablecloth, all placed in a bread basket.

The right, is/was (it was opened already ) my bridal basket with the ring pillow, toasting flutes, garter, unity candle, breaking glass...etc..)
