I tried calling islip town hall and they said their hours are from 8:30-5 m-f.. is that the latest they are open and do I need an appt. for my marriage license?

I think it is first come first serve for the license but I am not positive. That is one Town which is actually very nice and easy to work with, but they definitely close by 5. I would go in earlier than that though, b/c 5:00 is when they all walk out the door!
