I think Andrew from While You Were Out is a more talented carpenter than any of the Trading Spaces carpenters. Though I would never let any of those shows into my house. I am plenty happy to watch them destroy other homes!

I sooo agree with you - Andrew is way more talented (as is his sidekick - I can't remember her name). And he's pretty cute to boot.

Yeah, but Andrew (although extremely talented), seems to make a lot more measurement mistakes (or at least they air the mistakes!!)...Leslie on while you were out is sooooooooo artistic!!

LESLIE! Yes, (thank you!) she is very artistic. I think they work very well together... Sometimes the mistakes are due to the designers not properly measuring b4 giving Andrew the 'measurements'. I think the quality of his work is also reflective of the larger budget WYWO has over TS. I assume Andrew can purchase better materials due to that.

I think Leslie kicks a$$!!! It seems like she can do everything.

I think they do the won't be ready in time/oops it's too big thing for the drama of the show and will the room be ready in time.

I saw a kids version of trading spaces one Saturday morning where 12 year olds do each other's rooms. It was pretty cute.

I definitely like While You Were Out more than Trading Spaces. I like Andrew and Leslie. They are so creative and really handy. But some of the designers are a little scary...did you see the woman CRYING this weekend because she specifically told them no loud colors and that's what they did anyway! It's kind of funny.
