Trading Spaces - Kitchen Redo

Did anyone happen to catch the Trading Spaces episode that aired Wednesday, Sep. 8?? They did a Kitchen in one house, and a Master Bedroom in the other .. which had a seagul mural painted on the ceiling.

Anyway .. I loved the color they panted the cabinets in the kitchen they did .. and was wondering if anyone knew what color they said it was .. or if they even mentioned it .. I thought they did .. and I'm thinking .. since we can't afford a kitchen renovation .. maybe painting the cabinets would make me feel better about it .. the cabinets are old .. and are a vaneer finish, I believe .. so I was thinking .. prime and paint .. does anyone know if I would need a special type of paint??

I didnt see the show so I cant help ya on the paint but I did want to tell ya that we did a little 'face-lift' to our kitchen and I love it!! We repainted the cabinets, installed new hardware, changed the countertops (we bought pre-made pieces at Lowes), and we are now going to install a new floor!! Iy really makes the world of difference!!

TBS has a website and a whole section devoted to TS. I think, but not sure, that they soemtimes post what colors they used when painting on the shows.
