Anyone know the pros/cons of either? Just wondering!

Re: Traditional vs Air Brush Makeup
airbrush is a lot lighter and supposedly hold up to sweat etc.... I had my trial done w airbrush and liked it b/c it was so light and barely felt like you were wearing makeup on your face!

I've had both and I like the airbrush better. It definitely stays on. I used it for my e-pics at the beach and it stayed in place the entire time and it took me like 2 washes to get all of it off so it won't go anywhere during your wedding

Re: Traditional vs Air Brush Makeup
a make up artist, who only does traditional, told me that airbrush is really bad for your skin. have you had a bad break out or anything? i was really hoping to do airbrush, then this lady scared me.

Airbrush makes your face look flawless and stays on a lot longer .. although traditional can give the same effect if appied properly, it will fade a lot quicker than airbrush.

Re: Traditional vs Air Brush Makeup
I asked both my MUAs what they prefer and they both said traditional because they can blend and it looks more natural. Their exact words were 'it looks more like real skin.'
I went in the ocean with my traditional make-up at my TTD shoot and it stayed flawlessly... and on my wedding day it was 80+ degrees and humid and stayed perfectly as well!
I've never had airbrush but I've been told it doesn't work well on dry skin.

Re: Traditional vs Air Brush Makeup
I am all for airbrush. I have had traditional makeup tons of times, but tried the airbrush and I love it. We did our e-pics on the beach and it was so hot. It stayed though the whole 3 hours shoot and on all night as well

I could see that for everyday but I doubt it would do much harm for one day. It's very possible that she might have been saying this as a defense or persuasion that her way is better.

ye, theres no way that airbrush could cause any harm at all for one day if it does at all compared to regular foundation.

Re: Traditional vs Air Brush Makeup
Are they both around the same price? Do you just wash off the airbrush like traditional? Sorry for the Qs, i've just never heard of airbrushed makeup.
