Traditional vs airbrush?
For makeup I'm not sure what to do. I want it to look natural but I have problem skin lol like been using prescriptionCreams since I was 15 so I'm likely to get a breakout and I have oily skins. What do you guys think? What r u doing?

Airbrush. It looked amazing and was so light, didn't feel like I even had makeup on which is good bc I NEVER wear makeup.

Re: Traditional vs airbrush?
I have heard varying opinions on airbrush. I have always had oily skin so naturally, I had a (small) pimple on my wedding day. It wasn't too bad, but I was happy it was completely covered with the airbrush. I felt more comfortable taking pictures. When my FIL married his wife, she said the airbrush felt very heavy on her skin. My thing is if you already wear foundation, you won't notice much of a difference. She is very natural and doesn't wear heavy makeup. I do and I loved it and felt so pretty!

Re: Traditional vs airbrush?
My make up artist swears by airbrush. She's my good friend so basically she didn't even give me a choice LOL. My trial with the airbrush came out AMAZING. I also had hairbrush done by Christy Ann Cosmetics for a wedding that I was in and they did a phenomenal job too. It just looks so flawless - it looks like you just woke up with glowing, beautiful skin!

Thanks girls!
Who is your trial with?
My sister has pretty bad skin a makeup artist suggested that she used regular to help cover up by her chin and then airbrush on tip of it to help even it out but still airbrush
She is a sweater

My skin is okay once it gets stabilized from prescription creams but instill will have break outs and oil usually.

Airbrush looks amazing and lasts through heat and humidity. My trial was in the morning of one of those 102 degree days and it looked perfect until I removed it that night. The wedding wasn't so hot and it was a relief not to have to even think about it. I want to get an airbrush machine!

Re: Traditional vs airbrush?
I personally love airbrush and will be having airbrush for my wedding.I was a bridesmaid in a wedding two weeks ago and the bride's makeup girl didn't use airbrush but still did an amazing job! My makeup looked flawless! However, one thing I noticed is that when I had an itch on my nose, and I touched my face, my makeup needed to be blened again which is not that big of deal but not ideal if you aren't in front of a mirror.

I think a lot of it depends on your skin and what type of coverage you're looking for. I've had trials with both and preferred the traditional make-up. I don't wear foundation and the airbrush looked really heavy on. My MUA was able to use a sheerer traditional foundation that let me skin show through which I really appreciated. I think you should try out both!

I initially did a trial with airbrush and loved it but went back for a 2nd trial for my e-pics and tried traditional. I wound up liking the traditional better and it looked great when I got my e-pics back.

I'm doing traditional. I've done makeup for several weddings and I feel like if the artist knows what he/she is doing then your makeup won't be caked on and it will look natural and cover what you need.Welcome New Vendors
