TRAFFIC ALERT: Truck Crash Shuts Down Part Of L.I. Expressway
not sure if any of you have seen this....or if any of you care... ------------------------- The Long Island Expressway is closed eastbound at Exit 39 due to an overturned tractor-trailer.
Other vehicles were also involved in the crash that took place just before the afternoon rush.

The LIE scares me, I hate trucks!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND TODAY was a heavy gridlock day to begin with so i can only imagine this mess WOW thank god i dont have to take the LIE

Oh no! We are going out of town tonight! Though, we will be going westbound. Maybe we will leave really late and hope for the best!

i heard ! we usually take this home from work. thankfully our friend called us before hand to tell us so we avoided it. but our friend was stuck at exit 39 for at least 45 min

Sh*t I swear i just missed thsi I was on the LIE on that time, I took the side road for a lil bit but I probably was at that point around that time. I must of just missed that. WOW. I took the LIE instead of the Northern State because that was way packed. ...
