Train length

Train length

Ok...so if you guys look at my 'wedding stuff' album you will see a pic of the dress that I want to get which has a semi-cathedral train..meaning it extends about 4 to 5 feet...Ok here is my question. I am expecting between 80-90 people to attend my wedding (not a big wedding) do you think a train that long is appropriate for this size wedding...or a smalling train such as a sweep train would be more appropriate?

I think you shoul do whatever you think looks best no matter the size wedding

Thats what I was thinking...but I read somewhere (dont remember where) that the type of dress should resemble the wedding..yknow..the bigger the wedding the longer the train and the more fancier it should be. But thanks! I really love the dress hehe

I do agree...I am a strong believer of 'If it makes you happy then do it!'..Just wanted some opinions..honestly...I was probably going to get the dress whether it was proper etiquette or not lol Cause its my wedding and I do what I want!!!

Whatever you want-doesn't matter the size of your wedding. Even if you had 2 people, I would say get what you want.

If you want a long train get it! Just remember its more weight to carry around thru the night! We went with 75' and added 15 to it...but I wanted ALOT longer! Do what you want to do

don't worry about the size of your wedding...you should do what makes you happy. even though it wil be a small gathering you still want to look amazing! I love cathedrial trains!
