Did anyone hear about trains being stuck-- no trains going in or out of the city?? My co-worker is stuck on a train b/c no trains are allowed in or out of Penn Station

Due to police activity at Woodside, westbound service from Jamaica Station into Penn Station, and Woodside Station into Penn Station has been temporarily suspended.
New York City Transit is honoring LIRR tickets at Jamaica, Woodside and Flatbush Avenue.

really today? I just got in on the LIRR and were fine!
Yesterday I know Ronkonkoma branch was suspended due to train activity!

I got in to Penn around 10 today with no problems. Whatever is going on I'm sure will be cleared up by the time we need to get home. Although that doesn't necessarily mean that something else won't go wrong!
