transparent vs vellum paper

I don't think there is a difference. I hope not... because I already bought a package of 'clear translucent sheets' (i just checked). No word 'vellum' on the package. I already opened it and played around with one sheet, and it seemed like vellum to me.

Maybe just different companies call it different names.

I bought mine at Michael's.
