Transportation

I am so confused what to do about having transportation from the hotelto my RH for my hotel guests. My mother said that everyone should just have to find their own way their. What do you think??

Re: Transportation

It depends...are your OOT guests driving from nearby areas or are they flying in from farther away?

Most of our OOT guests are flying in, and the hotel is going to be expensive enough, so I don't think it's fair to make them rent a car or pay for a taxi, so we'll be providing transportation for them.

I agree. I can't let them pay for a cab on top of flying in, paying for the hotel and giving a gift. If they are driving in though, I think it's a different story bec. they have their cars then.

I answered yes. But...we are only providing transporation to and from the hotel if 8 or more people book rooms.

I am providing shuttle service for all my wedding guests, and yes there are locals that are staying at the hotel instead of driving home drunk. I am using Lindsey's. I think it allows people to relax and have a good time without anyone worrying.

We are all staying at the hampton inn and I made arrangements with the hotel to get my guest to the church and it did not coast a lot. Something like $4.00 per person. The only thing know is how would they get back to their hotel.

It depends who the OOT guests are. Mine are all for FH. THey are his family (alcoholics) and fraternity brothers. They are all also from upstate and do not know how to drive on LI. I have to offer it to them b/c they will all drink and drive! Its also just nice.

We are providing transportation from the Hotel to the RH b/c we have alot of OOT and we want to make sure everyone can drink and get home safely.

i think it's a personal choice. we're having about 30-40 people stay over so we thought it was right to have shuttle service.

We have over forty rooms blocked between two hotels. We are providing transportation because no one is from the area and at night it gets very dark.

No - we blocked rooms at two diff hotels and only 4 rooms were booked. It just so happens the motel is directly across the street from our RH - so it's not needed. Yay!
