My FH and I are booking a hotel near our venue for out of town guests to stay at. The problem is we cannot find a hotel that would provide us a free shuttle to the venue and back. The venue is the Marina Del Rey in the Bronx. We are open to hotels in Queens, the Bronx, or New Rochelle/Westchester. We need an affordable option for transportation from the hotel to the venue and back. The wedding is 4/24/15. Any tips or advice?!? Thanks!! =)

I'm not sure if a lot of places offer that. I only found one hotel that offered it for free and it was Viana in Westbury. I would say to ask your venue what hotels they recommend, those are probably the only hotels that you'd have a shot at having it covered.
We're paying I think around $500 for the shuttle to run. I figured that people are spending a lot of money to come to the wedding and stay in a hotel so I may as well supply them with some form of transportation so they don't have to pay for a cab.

Who are you using for this? I'm trying to see if getting a coach bus will be cheaper than the shuttle the hotel has.

Have you called the Raddison in New Rochelle? I'm from throggs neck originally, and I know there really aren't many hotel options in The Bronx. Raddison is about 15 min away from Marina Del Rey.

This is what I was going to say....it's not the prettiest, but it it isn't that far. Apparently there's also a Best Western in Bayside? Not sure exactly where it is, but might be close to the bridge.

idk any hotel. out that way but I was just quoted $250 for 3 hrs for a school bus a full 48 passengers I know it's not the prettiest but its so must affordable if u can't find a hotel with a shuttle! it's first student if your interested! they didsay each area is a different price so the Bronx might be different fyi

The Best Western in Bayside is on Northern Blvd, right off the Cross Island, and about a mile off of the Clearview. (Just in case you were interested in it)
