Is anyone providing a shuttle from their hotel to the church and then to the reception and back to the hotel? I think that I will just provide a shuttle from the hotel to the reception and back.

Re: Transportation Question....
It's something we are considering. If we don't do the hotel to the church (because people can get rides) we will just do shuttles between RH & hotel.

definitely something we are going to look into and I'm hoping its not ridiculously expensive! Most likely if we do do it, it will just be RH to hotel. Some hotels provide it, which would be great if I can find one close by that does!

Re: Transportation Question....
I am doing just hotel to reception and back, not to the church. I have a ton of time between church and reception so I would have to rent the shuttle for like 10 hours.

we did just the reception and hotel but not the church. honestly, it was too expensive to add the church as well because we had big break in between and we would have had to rent the bus for four more hours.

I don't think you should do the church. No reason for the expense. Nobody will be drinking at the church

Re: Transportation Question....
I originally was supposed to have FREE transportation for my 90 guests from the Holiday Inn-JFK to Russo's, but when the woman sent me my contract that I've been asking for for the last 2 weeks yesterday, I had a holy heart attack. They want to charge me $240 ONE WAY - I have six one ways, plus tax - $1500. I started freaking out and crying - and called corporate for this HUGE error on their part- 2 weeks before my wedding. Anyway, I got on the internet and phone and wound up booking with DeCamp buses - from 7:30pm - til 3am - $750! Try them, they were the most reasonable - although I do believe Coach and Academy were a little cheaper - but they had no availability my day!
FYI...I am filing a HUGE complaint against them with Corporate - and I'm thinking of taking them to small claims court for this...there are other issues I have and my guests didn't even check in yet! Imagine - I'm keeping my fingers crossed cause it's too late to change now. One person there is more dumb than the other! Another $750 2 weeks before our wedding...I want to die!

Re: Transportation Question....
We did the shuttle to the reception from the hotel and back again at the end of the night. We didn't provide transportation to the church, we felt it wasn't necessary.
