FH and I decided that we are going to drive down to the Florida Keys for our honeymoon b/c I am afraid to fly Obviously, we don't need to book airfare, but should we still go to a travel agant for the hotel and activities? Does anyone know how much they generally cost?
As for the hotel....I don't think that you need a TA for it, but it doesn't hurt to get a price quote. I have found that some discount sites, like Travelocity and booking through the hotel directly, can give you competitive pricing. You can get some discounts through agencies, like I have AAA.
I have been to Key West twice and never made reservations for activities and have never had any problems.
