Can anyone recommend a good travel agent. We will be coming to LI on 1/11 (we live in NJ) and I want to take care of as much as I can. Does anyone have a travel agent that the love so I can try to see them that day? We are ready to start making honeymoon plans. Thanks.

Re: Travel Agent
Got a great travel agent, and you don't even have to wait till you're in LI to talk with him.
Travel Tom works for American Express...lives in MD and does everything over the phone and email. Don't let that scare you, he showed us different sites online, described them to us, and it was better sitting in front of our own computers than crouching over a desk at an travel agents office. Let me know if you want more details.

Re: Travel Agent
BTW, these are some pics of the resort we're going to. Jade Mountain in St. Lucia - one of the walls is completely missing so you're open to the mountain view and there is an infinity pool in the room.
I highly recommend my travel agent. Several people besides myself have used her over and over and she has never disappointed. You don't have to wait till you come to LI either...contact her at [email protected] Her name is Nicole. Her phone # is 631 968-8100. Nicole is such a sweet person....I know you will love her.

He tries to stick to budgets more than the bride & groom usually do......if it's been a couple of weeks, maybe call him up and be like 'hey, hope you haven't forgotten about us'....I'm sure he hasn't. It's also the holidays, and a lot of times deals start after the new years? Call/email him if you're concerned though

Re: Travel Agent
I used Leslie Daniels from Travel Solutions but I'm not sure if she's still with them.
She was amazing to deal with, and if she is, I highly recommend her. She got me a much better deal than Travel Tom did.

We used Susane from Liberty Travel in St. James. She was wonderful and hooked us up!
