Is anyone or has anyone used Nicole Dangio? I was blown away by the fee she quoted me for her travel.

most artists are free travel up untill a certain milage point and then charge after that. Are u really far from her??

Maybe the most an hour to an hour and a half. She wants $300 for travel fee. I think that is a lot.

Wow, that's pretty crazy. I do make-up too, but I don't charge that much. These makeup artists get a lot of money!!

There are tons of makeup artists to choose from, I would definitely keep looking!

I was just thinking, maybe she accidentally put an extra 0 and its really $30 I would email her back and just question the fee. $30 seems more comprehendible.

My round trip flights to NY and back for spring break (direct flights, and at normal times of the day -- not 6am or anything) come to $239 total including taxes and fees.

I know people think they can rip off brides and get away with things (and many times they can) but don't think of this in terms of wedding money, think of it in terms of 'real' money!

She definately didn't make a mistake, its $300. I emailed er back and said it was not in my budget. I called Mia frm ************* but she has a bride that day. I actually set up a trial with Charlie from rougemakeupstudios for makeup and Rosanna Amadur for hair. I have another one with Lilly from Bridal gal. Any comments on either? Oh, another FYI... Onceuponabride.com, the web site is amazing, makes you want to book them on the spot. But wait until you hear their prices... $595 for make-up and $450 for hair... I couldn't believe it. Some of these places think that because they are located in NYC that they can charge those prices and think its normal. Some people will pay that and more power to them , but of all the brides i have seen on LIW , and they havent used them, are all beautiful and I am sure for much much less!!!

Wow that is alot for travel. Does she have a min your not meeting? I cant think of another reason for her to charge that much!!

If it's 1-1.5 each way so that can be up to 3 hours of travel so I could maybe, maybe understand if she will only be doing your hair and makeup. ( i still think that is a bit much though)-

If she was doing a whole bp and you then I think it is super
