I just wanted to get an idea of what hotels were closest to the beach /city that were nice.
I heard sometimes it's better to stay in the city and cab it to the beach (5 mins). a lot of hotels don't get many reviews on trip advisor, trip connect etc... or they don't have pics

Look how nice you are! Samantha Brown has a whole travel series on Latin America- check on travlechannel.com to see if she went there. I know South America is the land of the $40 hotel room, so if you are paying any more than that, it should be a great hotel. And I beleive most major cities have hotels like Ritz Carlton, 4 Seasons, etc.

Awww, that's so special. September is beautifula nd I'm so glad I chose that month for the wedding.
