Traveler's Insurance

Anyone else getting this? We hadnt thought about it and then realized it is something we should get for the cost of the honeymoon - god forbid! Just something you girls should look into. Rather inexpensive too! If you have AMEX you can use theirs which is the cheapest we found and from a reputable company! Just thought id share as we spend thousands on honeymoons?!?!

Re: Traveler's Insurance

we did it for our HM cuz it was such a BIG trip and we planned SO FAR in advance

i think when you plan trips VERY FAR in advance, it is worth considering

for smaller trips, we dont do it tho

get all your insurance through the company travel agents use, CSA. You'll save a lot AND it basis th rate on the total trip cost. So if you're booking a cruise and purchase it through the cruise line, you're screwed if your flight is delayed. CSA is all inclusive. I've been using them happily for years.

We will get it...the last trip we took that was big was 2 weeks in Peru, and we also got the insurance for that.

We will probably go through my Amex

If you decide to purchase trip insurance, there is a good site where you can compare many different insurance companies and their coverages.

Check out www.insuremytrip.com or

STA trip insurance

I have used STA for my past three trips. Their prices are great.

Be sure to purchase your trip insurance before you make final payment.

what does this cover? are there restrictions? Like what if you got a new job unexpectedly and couldn't go at that time? could you postpone it with the insurance?
