treadmills?

ok I really need to get back into shape, my membership to the gym expired a couple months ago and I have been doing Tae bo and other tapes at home because I dont know where i will be living and the gym wont let you cancel unless you are ou of a 30 mile radius!! (i know that is like out of NY state!!)

But me and FH both love to run so we would definetly need a treadmill once we are married so i am thinking of buying one to keep here at home and use till the wedding and just taking it with us after.

I really have no clue about qhat is good the prices really vary and I am very confused, any ideas?

I saw alot of Proform ones, thanks I will check them out

My hubby and I just bought a treadmill for our house. We got it at Sears for $800 (on sale from $1000). It's a NordicTrack C1800s. It has more than 6 programs to run, has a heart rate monitor and can go up to 10 mph and an incline up to 6. It is a space saver too. It folds up and is on wheels so it can be moved, but it's a heavy thing!!

We bought a NordicTrack over a Proform based on the reliability, the 3-year warranty and the fact that the motors on the NordicTracks are continuous motors, thus they last longer because they don't cycle through your running patterns. Thus, our 1.75 HP continuos motor is actually better than a Proform 2.0 HP motor.

Good Luck on your decision. We love ours and we run when ever we feel like it!!
